THIS IS AN UPDATE!
I have decided to repost this with different products because of some interesting stuff I have found my Palmer’s recently.

1) There has been so many searches on the color wheel (Way more than i had expected) so I have decided to repost Concealers 101 with a list of places you can by one at and the prices as well. That will be my next post.
2) “how many bronze foundations does mary kay have” . . . There are 7 different types available by Mary Kay.
3) ONE MORE THING!! I finally fixed the brushes category. Every post in their shows now
4) To those who look up MK products that I only posted without any detailed descriptions I plan to repost those in November. Also I do not add colors of MK products into keywords if there are too many. For example, I will not make a keyword for 10 different purple colors, I will just add ‘purple’ in the keywords when I repost in Nov.

Since many viewers are becoming more aware of skin care necessities I decided to post on my skin care regiment, this one for body. If there is another body product that you want to know about that I did not cover in this post, please leave me a comment or make a search and I’ll do my best to answer.
Unfortunately I have a lot of skin problems. I have keloid skin, which means that I not only bruise easily – but scar easily. I could turn red from a slap on the wrist and it will take a while to heal. Essential ingredients that I search for are medicinal like: Vit. E, Shea Butter, or Tea Tree Oil, Soy Bean . . . and I’m sure there is plenty more.
I also can get horrible bacne (yes that is a real word), and of course, that can scar to. What I “specifically” need is salicylic acid and anything that can repair or rejuvenate my skin afterwards. So here is my Body Skin Care Regiment . . .
Night
1) Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Body Wash, 13.5 oz – around $7

Cocoa Butter is well known for it’s moisturizing effects for the skin. Many skin products, if you look for or find the right brand, have moisturizing affects. Proper moisturization can not only maintain and nurture your skin’s glowing appearance, but it is also completely necessary in case your skin has any special needs. (Like how sunscreen can help prevent further skin discolorations. This product also contains Vitamin E (as one of its key ingredients), another great source for moisture.
REVIEW::
I use this with my exfoliating gloves every other day. I believe that good moisturizing body washes are necessary for exfoliation, especially body washes with any key medicinal ingredients. This wash is really great, you can smell the Cocoa Butter. The scent soothes me, but it really depends on you whether you like it or not. It’s extremely smooth and feels like therapy to me because I end up soaking in the shower a bit more than usual now. I love falling asleep after washing up after this!
2) Neutrogena Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Toner, 8 fl oz – $7

I only recently started applying toner to my back with small cotton balls and that helps control my bacne as well. There are specific toners and control sprays for your body acne, but I don’t see the point in using them when can just use a toner I already have. This toner also has 2% salicylic acid, so it’s great for controlling acne.
My Review of the Product here: My Facial Skin Care Regiment: Night (ft Palmer’s, Ambi, & Dr. Miracle)
3) All Natural African Shea Butter (oz and prices vary), Mine is usually around 8 oz and cost $6 at a small store

All natural shea butter is a great scar healer. Shea butter is seen in a lot of skin care products, but I only like it natural. Other shea butter products are just not effective for me. Shea butter can be used to heal or relieve multiple skin issues like: dry scalp, sunburn, even skin tone, wrinkles, loss of hair luster, peeling, skin cracks, and small wounds just to name a few.
I only use shea butter for wounds or small scars. I never use it for blemishes because they always turn into discolorations the day after it starts to heal. I have learned my lesson on that part. I don’t really use it for anything else. When you get natural shea butter don’t worry about refrigerating it. Also it can last for about 2 or 3 years before it loses effectiveness like a many other skin care products.
Day
4) Palmer’s Shea Butter Formula, 18 oz – around $8

Okay, so I think I have tried this long enough to do a good review on it by now (right?)
REVIEW
I thought that since Shea Butter is my favorite product to use on my wounds and such that it would be cool to try as a lotion. It is SUPER-CREAMY and lucid formula that isn’t too thick like my old Jergen’ lotion, but still covers and conditions the skin well.
Over time I haven’t seen I big difference in the appearance of my skin, so I started checking my back. My back is my body’s major problem area because when I breakout there it is difficult to treat and old acne often scars me. I have checked my back every now and then and it not only feels smoother, but looks a bit toned as well. I feel like my skin is blending just a bit more with those dark spots now.
No huge improvements, but there are indeed slight improvements. I would like to try the Vaseline Aloe Vera Lotion SPF 15 next and see how that formula works out for me.
5) Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Gel Oil, 7 oz – $8

I prefer oils or serums for body moisturizers any day because they are lightweight. However, I can’t deny my skin the moisture it really needs so instead I would wear a body oil over my lotion during the day. Body oils have great sex appeal and I just love the added on shine it gives me especially after I shave. Body oils don’t only have to be worn inside with your Bo, but outside as well especially on a sunny day or even underneath a starry night.
BTW: (I have tried Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil and it has no affect for me. I’ll keep looking for something for the scars on my back.)
Altogether: around $36 (Total of 5 Products)
I hope my little guide gave you some insight into things. And know that every product I use I also highly recommend for ebonies because these ingredients are some of the best healers for dark skin.
Love ya,
Martyiers
